ABOUT

Valerie Nicholls graduated from a French University in the late 80s. A few years later she set up Am Stram Gram while studying for a Montessori Diploma which she obtained in 1996. The Montessori approach was to shape her teaching style. In the realisation that the child-centred, multi-sensorial approach of the Montessori philosophy could easily be applied to teaching languages, Valerie started to adapt Montessori principles to her teaching and developed her own teaching method.

Am Stram Gram offers fun and exciting French tuition for 3 to 5 year olds in preschools and nurseries and 5 to 12 year olds in our own Saturday club.

Valerie also writes articles for leading UK and international parenting and educational magazines.
